Im not sure if I am posting in the correct spot, correct me if I should post some place else.
I love my Juke but I am pregnant and I am concerned that finding a car seat to fit in the Juke will be hard sense the back seat is so compact, car seats seem large and bulky. I am wondering if there is any one that can guide me to a seat that will fit. I don't want to have to buy one have have to return it until I find one that works. Thank you in advance.

Bring your Juke to Babies-R-Us (do you have them in Canada or something similar?), I believe they'll come out to the car and test fit seats with you.

We've got a 3 y/o in a Brittax booster and a 1 y/o who moved from a Baby Trend Carrier to a BIG Graco convertible a few months back.

The big Graco is a little tight when installed reverse, bit when you flip it around to forward facing it fits ok, even with the Juke seats all the way back.

It's not the biggest back seat, but it'll do.

Hell, I've also got a 16 y/o and back in the day her seats were in the back of a Mini Cooper and Turbo Beetle, the Juke is MUCH easier by comparison.

Oh, and CONGRATS!

I had a Britax Marathon 70 in my Juke for a little while. We switched to a booster not long after I got the car. The Britax fit well, and was easy to get her in and out. She didn't have as much leg room as she did in my previous car, a Mazda 3 hatchback. However, the higher stance of the Juke makes it SO much easier. The Britax is a pretty big seat. I've been told Recaro seats also fit well in small cars.

I agree with the above poster, go to a baby stuff store and see if they'll let you test fit them in your car. Most of them do. If you're going to go the infant carrier seat route too, then make sure you can get that in and out of the Juke's small rear door opening. For what it's worth, my kiddo was only in an infant seat for 6 months before we moved her to the Britax in rear-facing mode. She's very tall. They grow out of those things so fast! We used our Britax for a good 3 years. But when it was rear-facing, the front passenger seat had to be scooted all the way up. If anyone rode with me, their knees were in the dash! So that's another thing to consider, lol. I didn't get a new car because of it. I made people deal. But if I were you, I'd test both infant seats AND convertibles in both front and rear-facing modes... just to make sure. I switched her to front facing when she was 12 months old, which you're technically not supposed to do now. There are better seats on the market now, like adjustable rear facing seats, and 4-in-one things that are pretty awesome.

Congrats and good luck!

I'm sure you can find a car seat that fits but don't overlook the fact that you will probably need to lug a stroller around so my concern is if there is enough space to fit one in the back and if you manage to fit it in you'll be hard pressed to get anything else in there and anybody who have had kids will attest if you have young children there is always a lot of stuff to bring with you when you go out lol.

In our case we have two kids and one still uses a car seat but we still went ahead and purchased a Juke cause we wanted something with a smaller footprint.

Well now if we're talking strollers...

Go buy this one. Right now. I tried SO many, and this thing is hands down, the best stroller out there. It goes anywhere and does anything, folds crazy easily, and folds up SMALL for a larger stroller. It will take up the rear compartment of the Juke, laying flat, but will still leave room to put stuff on top of it. It is a little expensive, but it will last and last, or you can sell it when you're done with it.

Or there's always the umbrella strollers.

I don't have a baby r us in my city, I live in a city that doesn't have much for shopping unfortunately, I may have to take a trip to Sudbury to check out car seat fittings. Thank you everyone for your input. I will not be able to put the baby seat in the middle as I need to have access to being able to fold down the back seat. for the stroller I want to get.
