So I didn't like the OEM Shift Knob....after looking at many options I finally chose this one--->Universal Billet Automatic at Shift Knob Chevy Camaro | eBay --the brand name of it is "American Products Company"....anyways...it was easy to install ....

I also found a video that showed me how to remove the OEM knob....the sound is "low" but it is exactly what you need to do to remove it

here is mine installed

Sorry...I have no idea about that particular shift in the video...your gonna have to just look around for it...and depending on your type of transmission depends on what shift will work....again your gonna have to look for your specific type of shift needed....there are many types...some with buttons..some without...etc.

First...locate the bottom of the shift

then take a small tip flat head screw driver or butter knife and slowly separate the lower part on the shift.....it will pop off..

then you will see on the bottom the wire clip holding the shift on.....take some needle nose pliers and slowly pull the clip out....at this point, pull the shift up and remove...it's that easy..

I have an automatic too, I would like to change my shifter but I cannot find one that I like. The manual shift seems to have a lot more options. If anyone finds cool auto shifters please post pics in this thread.

Jay...you can check this brand out...they have a variety to choose from that come with an "Adapter For Automatic Gear Shift"

^-----this one for example....you push down on the knob to engage the "park release button"

I just ordered a a shifter, does the juke have wires, coming up through the shaft? Or... is it all mechanical?

I'd love to see the officer's split-second reaction if you would happen to get pulled over

When i saw it on the shelf in the store that's the first thing i thought of. I also thought of this...

If i'm pulled over,

1: all windows down
2: hands on the steering wheel
3: control music from steering wheel
4: (must be timed perfectly) as the cop glances inside and spots the shift knob, begin playing "fuvk da police" by NWA

Now, if the cop is gungho and gets that vein in his neck bulging immediately after seeing the knob, i start playing "Never Surrender" by Scarface/Jadakiss/MeekMills

Then it's On & Poppin!!!

So did anyone try the GTR shift knob?

THIS! ^^^^^^^

Bringing this back. I think a lot of us CVT'ers would love this as an option.

Has anyone tried the sickspeed one that allows you to push down instead of having a lockout button? I have a leather sleeve on mine now, but I would like to just have a black leather round ball as my shift knob. Wondering if I could mount that kind of knob on the sick speed one.
