Hello everyone, I have a 2013 Nissan Juke SV and I just bought some smoked out rear reflector lights.. I could use some help with wiring them. I'm a total newbie when it comes to electrical stuff. The reflector lights come with a black, red, and white wire. It's supposed to be used as rear fog lights and brake lights.. Can anyone help figure out which wire goes where.

I added a trailer hitch to my Juke. For the wiring, I bought the wiring harness connector that plugs into the existing harness. No modifications were made to the factory wiring. Your fog lights are no different than a set of trailer lights.

Look at etrailer.com for connecting parts and instructions

Ive installed the same light's . Pretty simple. You can check what wires do what by touching onto the car battery to work out which wire does what if they dont send a wiring diagram. Remove taillights n feed a pull wire down to the hole created by removing oem reflectior. Then just using a step drill or airsaw remove any plastic not allowing for a good fitup. Connect wires to pull cable n pull up into taillights cavity. I used small amount sikaflex adhesive to guarantee " lights", that they dont come out when u push them in to slot. Held them in place with piece of masking tape. Til glue dried. Then just connect/spliced in and soldered the right reflector wires to the right nissan wire. Maybe 1hr per side. Didnt need to remove anything but lights n oem reflectors. Good luck

Like i said. Use a battery n test new light to see what wire is what. American wiring is different. Black is usually earth. But it could also be reverse, with white the earth n red is brake. But test on battery to confirm. Then just look at where lights wires go. U should be able to workout which is reverse n brake as earth wire should be common to all the light fittings on back of light. Use service manual if its easier to chase wiring diagram. U can use scotch loks/ piggybak clip so u dont have to solder anything. U may have to extend the wiring on new lights to make it easier to pull thru n up to were u need

For future reference: The rear LED bumper lights are configured with three wires: red, white, and black.
  • Red – Brake light positive
  • White – Parking light positive
  • Black – Ground (negative)
Important: Do not connect the lights directly to the battery without an inline fuse. Doing so may cause premature failure due to overcurrent. These LEDs draw minimal power and are best wired by tapping into the existing brake and parking light circuits at the bulb connectors.
Installation note: It is highly recommended to remove the entire rear bumper during installation. Attempting to remove only the lower valance increases the risk of damage, as there is a body clip and bolt on each side securing the valance to the bumper. These fasteners are often heavily corroded (approximately 80% of the time) and prone to snapping. While bumper removal is somewhat time-consuming, it is straightforward and significantly reduces the chance of damaging the valance—replacement cost for a new valance is approximately $400.
