what happens with my car sometimes is that everything dies under the remote control and I just hold the lock and unlock buttons to do kind of like a mini reboot. works for me most of the time if not its a battery. could be something else but we can talk about that once all the little things are addressed first

 

I managed to get it working again, turns out the battery terminals weren't making a good contact so I just bent them up very slightly and it's working again!

 

Also, don't ever use dollar store batteries. They're crap and don't work.

 

I have been having the same problem with both FOBs. Won't start, won't unlock from the door handles, intermittently remote open/lock. Finally realized if I smacked the FOB it started working. I'll need to adjust the contacts as well. Weird it was both FOBs. Thanks for the post!

 

Make sure you are using 2032 batteries and if possible. Use name brand ones.

 

You know...if you smack it 3 times across your head, spin around twice and hop on one leg 5 times, it will always work!! Trust me!

must be either really hot or humid where you guys are at. sounds like moisture, washed one fob....and dried it in the dryer. works just fine

Yeah but its a mod I guess. 2032 has more capacity and fits the FOB and same voltage.

 

2032’s don’t work in my Juke and 2025’s don’t work in my Harley. That’s why I have it written down.

 

My juke wont open automatically or with the key in the door. It started not opening sometimes or not locking about two weeks ago. Now i can't get in the car. Ordered new batteries, waiting till arrive in the post. At worst have to have a new key cut and synced for about £300

 

Wow, you have to order batteries! We sell them at literally every corner store.
I change my batteries on my birthday every year so I never would have a post like this.
