ITEM: Recaro seats from a 2014 Juke Nismo RS
PRICE: Looking for $2500
SHIPPING: Willing to ship if you're covering the costs.

Sliding, reclining and lifting features function perfectly. Passenger side weight sensors and both seatbelt/airbag clips and wires fully intact. Wear and tear on the leather is very minimal for 10-year-old seats. I already have the driver side replacement adjustment knob that is missing in the pictures.

Driver side airbag is blown but the module can be removed so it's not an eyesore. Backs have superficial scuffs and scratches. The lighting in the pictures make them look much worse than reality.

(Had to add pictures to the description because the "upload images" function wasn't working).

I sell a lot of these, and with a deployed airbag and in that shape, you will be lucky to get $2000 for the pair. Just as a heads up.

Recline knob is missing as well.

To get $3500 they need to be PERFECT. These are far from Perfect.

Thanks for the feedback and insight guys.

Guess I'm a little confused on the proposed valuations because every single listing I've seen over the past month have all been over $3000 for damaged units. As of now, the only 2 listings across all platforms (ebay, FB, forums, craigslist, etc.) I can find are a set $3500 + $300 shipping for HORRIBLY ripped and gouged fabric. And another set on FB with no airbags, no passenger weight sensors and no seatbelt buckles for $4200 but include the brackets for a 370Z. Even the few and far-in between junkyard part-out listings I've come across in the past had these at $2500+ for both blown bags and badly damaged fabric/leather.

Don't take this as being combative, I'm just genuinely curious as to how you guys are seeing that low of price when I've never seen them ever go that low...even searching through sold and previous listings. Actually I take that back, I saw an old listing on here where a guy sold a set for $2k, but everyone including himself admitted that was an unusually low 'steal'. The 370Z version of these seem to sell for $2500+ and up with both blown airbags and torn up seats; and those aren't true Sportster seats, just the backs are and can't be adapted to any other car.

The other part that confuses me is, Sportsters from Recaro will run you $2600 without any taxes/fees/shipping and don't include airbags, weight sensors, seatbelt sensors or the Nismo branding/color scheme.

To clarify, not fighting anyone here, I appreciate the feedback and will likely adjust my pricing based off of this. Again, just very curious on the low valuations you guys are suggesting.

I don't know how this community typically runs but I'm used to the Z group where basically, if you don't sell something for basement bottom dollar and is a steal of a price, everyone shitposts about "overpriced". It's quite frustrating lol.

I doubt it, When and where'd you sell them from?

I sold a set with one deployed airbag to a guy who came up to me from New york. So maybe i didn't sell those directly to you, but I'm fairly certain I'm the one that took those out of the car they came out of lol

As for the price: I've only ever sold 1 set over $2000 because they were pristine, all the rest where pretty much at the $2000 mark. Juke people usually don't buy them, and anyone using them for anything else know they have to change the rails and such to make them work, so they won't pay Z prices for them.

Gotcha, yeah wasn't me. These came from one of the Carolinas within the past month or so. No telling on the donor car though, so quite possibly lol.

I apologize, I must've gotten the wrong impression. I initially posted here because it seemed like everyone and their mother was looking to swap RS seats into their non-RS Juke so I figured let me post in the Juke forums lol. Either way, thank you for the insight here. If this doesn't gain any traction over the next few days, I may just remove the listing altogether.

The RS seats are extremely narrow which might partly explain why they aren't that popular. The airbag deploy is a problem. The condition isn't great on the driver's bolster but it's not terrible either. I'm dealing with that exact problem on another set of Recaro's (non-Juke) and I have to rebuild the seats with new Recaro foam inserts from Europe and most likely have to reskin the seats which is costing me a small fortune but these were the original factory seats on early model years, airbags are intact. Those seats even mint are $1600-$2000 a pair and any airbag deploy destroys the seatcovers making them effectively worthless. You would be competing against a set of Sportsters CS for about $2500 not including custom seat rails. That is basically the deal as a Juke owner who was once looking at the factory RS that is the calculus I did. At this point you'd have to price them better to gain interest. That's just friendly advice.

Not rushing to sell, but to JukeAholic's point, I don't want to sit on them indefinitely while the value eats away (assuming they don't reverse from rarity). I have a second set I'm keeping for myself that I'm working on fitting to the 350Z platform so, if that's successful without much trouble, I may convert these over as well.

Unless you have access to all the Ebay Recaro's and what they sold for. Listing price doesnt mean much.

Yes, I can see previous completed listings up to the max time frame eBay allows and there is only 1 result - which sold for $3300 shipped. However, the sold listings I was referring to in my description weren't on eBay.

But nonetheless, as has been previously mentioned, either the right buyer will come along, my price will drop over time...or a combination of both lol. I'm willing to price match and/or negotiate for serious interest :)
