Hey all I need help identifying a problem with my 2016 Juke. None of my speakers are currently working whenever I connect either on Bluetooth or the radio the sound cuts in and out and at this point it's almost completely gone. The sound is acting like it's a radio station that's really far away and trying to connect but I have no problem with any kind of screen or display. The sound is staticky and fades in and out. My first thought is that my speakers were going out but it really doesn't seem like all of them would go out at once? This is feeling more like and electrical issue to me since if it was a spark plug everything would just stop working. A few people have suggested replacing my radio with another factory radio or that I might have a problem with a potential Amplifier. I really just want to see if anyone else has had this issue. Hopefully I've described the problem well enough if anyone could offer me any insight I would be really appreciative

You are right-it is not the speakers since they are unlikely to all go out together! It sounds like the stereo unit is kaput or on the way out. Symptom of internal amplifier chip losing connection. Other possibility is a bad +12v or ground connection-however that normally shows up as affecting stereo panel lights.

Could be time to shout yourself a new one! And get a real upgrade. (see my other post) for less than $50.
Youtube shows how to DIY swap it.

Alternative, buy the new stereo cheap online, and get a pro-shop to fit it for you.

It is worth it to upgrade. Yes this does happen over time.

A pro audio shop is a great way to have it done. Then you get an install warranty etc. Best Buy etc.
