Juke climate control auto setting change

Mine is just about always in Auto, if its too hot all I do is lower the temp using the left knob, too cold, raise it. Only time I switch the I-con to climate controls at all is to physically turn off the A/C at which point I then switch back over to the drive modes and then can just press the center of the left knob when I am ready for the AC again.

If while in Auto you select a different fan speed (on climate controls section), it will cut off and go to manual control.
And I've come to really dislike auto so much that I refused to order it in my next car.

I find that I get in and auto is either blowing too much or too little. And forget it if you open all the windows and the sunroof.

Like you I have to shut off the A/C (unless I just got in after a workout and now the interior is steaming up).

Maybe it would be better if there was a constant display and I didn't have to toggle back and forth in the Icon.

Either way, I'm looking forward to complete manual settings in my future.

I like when the Ac has an auto function, my 350Z had it and I didn't realize I would miss it until I got in my altima coupe and only had manual controls. So I like that the Juke has the auto function.
That also could be the difference between FL and NJ.

The seasons are so different here, and depending on how I've dressed for the day I might not want full air or full blast hot too.

My wife's GC has auto (dual zone) and it seems less intrusive (less all or nothing), but I still turn it off when I open up all the windows and the roof.
