I've been to Texas before and I didn't notice a strong accent there.

Its official. All of CA is shut down except for essential businesses. Unfortunately it looks like I will still be working. I was looking forward to time off....

It's getting real in the Panhandle. Our first two confirmed cases as of yesterday. Mayor ordered all nonessential business closed starting midnight tomorrow and schools are likely out for the remainder of the year (in class form, anyway). I, for now, am still working and probably considered essential business for now. I literally sell PPE for a living so I'm probably aight and can kinda work from home if it comes to that.

I don't need to go out and and enjoy my last restaurant meal for weeks. I got that on lock in the apocalypse right at home.

Pa is shut down pretty well.

I used to wear a lot of PPE being a firefighter / Hazmat Technician / Confined space / High Angle rescue guy while working in a Steel / Alloy Mill.

I am preparing to work from home as well, unfortunately it won’t be as easy for me and my company has to give the ok to do so. All restaurants have been shut down here as well. We’ve had two confirmed cases here in my parish as of today, and had a scare at the office; a coworker was exposed to one of the confirmed but tested negative. What really sucks is my Juke needs a new flywheel and he can’t attention until this is over, so he’s just sitting under my carport silently.

I'm supposed to start a new job on Tuesday and was told to go in, get my laptop, phone and then go home and start doing online courses for the next 2 weeks! Nice way to start a new job although it would be nice to actually get to meet the staff. However, most of the staff know me by name from my previous job, as apparently my name has gotten around through emails. Hopefully I will live up to my name! :D

The way you just described all that, I would think you are a porn star or something haha.

No, not a porn star, but I must be legendary as the first thing people say to me when they meet me is, finally nice to put a face with the name! People at my new job are used to asking me for favours so they have to be nice to me!

Might be extra rare. As in a cow. You can saw off what you want and ride the rest home. I'll include hand sanitizer and toilet paper.

Today, after being cooped up in the house for a few days, I decided to venture out to see what was happening out there in the world. I jumped in my trusty Juke, turned the tunes up, and proceeded out onto the streets. It felt good driving in my car as I feel I was starting to go through Juke withdrawal. The streets were practically deserted. The highway had barely any cars so I was able to zip along at full speed. I kinda have a sixth sense sometimes and something told me to slow down. Seconds later, I passed a cop doing a radar check. As I got off the highway, two more cops passed by. Were they out combing the streets for the infected zombies?

In the news, the new word is now "Physical Distancing", as apparently people didn't understand what social distancing meant. They thought they could still hang out in groups as long as they didn't stand that close to each other. Now Trudeau is trying to enforce physical distancing so that people stay home locked away from the zombie world.

I stopped off at a pharmacy, made a purchase and immediately doused my hands in sanitizer. I jumped back into my car and proceeded to return home. As I passed by cars I would look over at the drivers. No one looked my way as they concentrated on the road ahead wondering if they would make it home virus free. Time to barricade myself back inside. Now I wonder, will there be a huge influx of births at the end of the year? Time will only tell. With the number of deaths from this horrible virus, perhaps we will need these births to re-populate the world again!

PHYSICAL DISTANCING EVERYONE! Don't spread COVID-19!

I couldn't even get my morning cup of coffee at WaWa's this morning because it could lead to people grouping at the coffee Station. Do you know what it is like to wake up at 3am with no Coffee

Even after recovery there can be lung damage. Please, take precautions where able.

I dont have the supplies/money to be Mr. OCD, but i take some wipes in zip lock bag to the supermarket.

Reading around on other forums i frequent and members there having it, the symptoms go on for weeks, with relapses. Not always just the coughing, breathing, fever either. Diarrea etc.

I’ve heard that before but didn’t think much of it, thats really good to know. You’re right, never can be too cautious, not with this thing.
