I attempted to install a front strut tower bar last night, and I ran into what appeared to be a fitment issue.

In the photo above you can see the strut bolts are sitting to one side of the hole in tower.

This middle hole doesn't seem to have enough play to align with where my strut bolts are currently sitting, and get caught on the threads. Leaving me hesitant to force it in place.

Has anyone else had an issue installing a strut bar with coilovers?

You can drill it out one drill bit size higher with no problem. Also when removing those 3 bolts you run the risk of ruining your alignment. Especially with coilovers.

Good idea, thanks noob!

And yea I was worried about that. I tried to do it on level ground and tried not to disturb the car while the nuts were off.

If you dont have a drill or bit. A rasp will work.. A Dremel tool with a rasp or abrasive cylinder will work as well.
