On my old car, a 1996 Geo, it said to change the spark plugs every 30K miles and I think it separated that from the spark plug wires, which said to change every 60k miles. The Juke manual says to change spark plugs every 60K miles. Is that pretty much right?

I did mine around 75k miles out of necessity. I had the point on the ground strap break off. Symptom was under boost more than 3-4psi the spark wasn't strong enough to do a complete burn and I was getting misfires.

Todays NGK Iridiums can go 100k or more but its worth changing them at 60-75k.

I own a 2014 juke, my owner's manual doesn't state when to change the spark plugs, but the service and maintenance guide that comes with the owner's manuals says to replace at 105,000 miles. Mine were replaced at 75,000. I didn't notice a difference, so I'm sure I could have gone longer before replacing.

Its no different than changing your oil sooner than later. You are just minimizing what can go wrong with new plugs changed earlier than recommended.
