Sorry if this is somewhere else...

That being said here are instructions on how to retain the Rockford sub with aftermarket head unit.

You will be tapping into the 24 pin harness behind the head unit. Nissan numbers it 21-32 on top and 33-44 on bottom with wires facing you.

Pin 1 "R" is the amp on signal so connect this to the remote turn on wire of your HU

Pin 30 "W" is the positive sub audio signal

Pin 31 "B" Is the Negative sub audio signal

You can attach these with or without solder to an RCA plug. I picked mine up at Radioshack.

With RCA the center pin is positive and the shield is negative.

Connect it up and plug it in. Don't forget to turn on the sub in the head unit!

Has anyone done this recently?
Just did this. I ended up having more success plugging the single rca cable into the head unit’s left aux out plug than the one dedicated for the sub. It’s not as full sounding as it was with the OEM headunit, but it works and I was able to tweak sound decently enough through the units EQ app.
