So my dad had a car accident with his nissan juke and we had to repair it. After the repairing was done the car went back to normal and we sent it to a car wash. Once the washing was done the car stopped working. The mechanic said it was because the electric componenets of the car were busted due to water leakage. Is this true? And if so what parts should be exchanged for it to work again?

The engine bay is not sealed against moisture. The components within are protected from direct exposure through gaskets and covers. anything that would dislodge or otherwise defeat these protective barriers could cause water to get into places it shouldn’t be and cause an electrical fault.

Need to know what the symptoms are or what the car isn’t doing now or is doing differently now than before. Best diagnosis is for a mechanic to read the error codes and start troubleshooting.
