Kev's 2015 Juke SV FWD CVT Boring Build Thread

Well today is the day we pick up our new Juke from the dealer and thus the Juke will be a part of our family for hopefully many trouble free years to come. I decided to start a build thread to document the comings and goings of our Juke and also any mods or add ons we may do to the car. Although I'll see a decent amount of time behind the wheel the Juke will be my wife's daily driver so she'll drive it more than myself therefore the car won't be heavily modded but I'm sure I will tweak a few things here and there and who knows maybe even a few surprises along the way too. Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll make sure to document the thread with lots of pics but for now off to the dealer.:D

Thank you very much.
Yep, Congrats! I've had mine a month now and we are finally getting to know each other. I hope your wife loves hers as much as I love mine.

My wife originally wanted her Juke in Cayenne Red but the dealership wasn't able to find the model we wanted in red so we went with her second color choice Gun Metallic and I have to say I think I like the Gun Metallic more. Nissan does nice grays. Anyways here she is picked her up with all of 15KM on the odometer. :D

Very nice. Once your wife starts driving it, she won't give it up for any mods. My wife's is completely stock.

Will do some personalization and upgrades here and there but for the most part the car will remain stock.
Looks good, nice color.

Thanks.

Speaking of color when I purchased the Juke I also had the dealer add a factory spoiler. The dealer called me the day before I picked up the vehicle and told me the factory spoiler only comes in 5 colors and Gun Metallic is not one of them WTF. Why would you not offer a spoiler that color matches the vehicle? I know Nissan is offering this color studio thing where you can add these crazy color combinations to your car but at the end of the day most people probably want the spoiler color matched. Thought it was stupid and kind of pissed me off anyways good chance I'll order a painted to match factory replica I've seen a few on Ebay anybody know if the quality is decent?
That's weird, I have a 2011 and asked at the dealer the other day about a spoiler and its available in my colour. I guess mine is one of the five colours.

I think I might phone around a couple dealers and see if I get the same answer.
Unlike most people who use the Juke as a two seater I plan to use the Juke as a 4 seater as I'll have my kids back there alot. Me and my wife are short so we don't need much legroom in the front so the kids have manageable room in the back.

So the first order was to Scothgard the front and rear seats and trunk. Followed the instructions to give it two light coats rather one heavy coat and left it overnight to dry. The smell goes away in 2-3 days.
I went ahead and ordered a pre-painted color matched replica OEM spoiler last night. IMO the rear end looks so much better with the spoiler can't wait to have that installed.
Ordered the spoiler Thursday night got shipping confirmation Friday afternoon. Considering it needs to be painted that is very fast turnaround unless the shop has them prepainted already. Going to have to check on the quality of the spoiler paint job once it comes in.

My RS is white and with the spoiler, my wife says it looks like a big high-top sneaker.

Which spoiler do you have the Nismo lip spoiler or the regular Juke spoiler that sits higher?

Does the Nismo spoiler fit on non Nismo Jukes? Or is it a different fitment?

the lift gates are the same for all so either spoiler will fit.

Any idea where I can purchase a Nismo spoiler without paying an arm and a leg?
