So if you remember I had made my own hood scoop to help direct air to the turbo using the design from Evo X, and because of the angle it practically drank water when it rains, on this hood the vents are raised from the hood and have channels I assume to prevent accumulated water, ( realistically I 100% don't think they design this with any real attention to aerodynamics) and it hasn't rained so I will take pics under the hood after rain to see what gets wet.
So I was curious after you guys mentioned the water so I went out ant took a look,
the vent on the back is harmless, it dumps water onto the strut bar but the ones on the side might pose some concern as the one one driver side definitely drops water directy over the battery and the passenger side drops water all over the timing cover .
Your main worry should be the wiring harness (Im assuming its not dumping water directly over your air intake). Seeing how brittle and poorly made they are from the factory, you really don't want to get water in there.
