So you could do a whole front end swap on a V1 RS from a V2 RS and get projectors ?You cant put the headlight assembly from a v2 into a v1, you would need to do a front end conversion to make it fit. Can you install the projectors into a v1 housing? No idea. I have some brand new V2 headlights for sale if you want to try haha
Also have an entire v2 RS front end for sale as well XDSo you could do a whole front end swap on a V1 RS from a V2 RS and get projectors ?![]()
I think there's one other member that has used similar housings to these. They also have a heavily modified and lifted Juke. @Jaxxa ?If anyone has attempted this please lmk. I have posted a pic of the headlights if anyone is interested.
Is ok if i put them on my junk truck?. Cheap nasty upgrade/downgrade. They work n were cheap n easy to install, sorry 13😭Jaxxa did it. I'm proud of him for pulling off the work even though I don't approve of the modification.
Those jeep headlights totally blow dude. Don't do it because you think they'll help you see better at night. Most aren't even legal for street usage they're so bad. I just do not understand why people are w![]()
illing to spend so much time and effort (and money!) to just do something wrong. RETROFIT OR DIE.
Yeah I did this retrofit, but I didn't write it up because I did it in a hack-y way. I actually had a crash that shattered my headlight, and even though 13 disagrees, it is definitely an upgrade from stock headlights with halogens. I literally bought the headlights and foglights as a package for I think less than $150 so yes they are definitely cheap, the halos are not that bright and have about half the elements as it should, and believe it or not but these are actually designed as motorcycle headlights so the beam pattern is a bit off from what you would expect. As long as you mount them with a bracket that allows you to adjust them correctly, they are perfectly fine headlights and safe to use on the road.If anyone has attempted this please lmk. Just looks so good. We did a similar thing to a top of the range murano for a work weekend. Shits n giggles but lots of funYeah I did this retrofit, but I didn't write it up because I did it in a hack-y way. Hey now, those lights are absolutely a Wendy's caliber burger. I never said they weren't an upgrade, I just said that it was an exorbitant amount of effort that doesn't yield sufficient results to be worthy of consideration.... IN MY OPINION... I am also woefully aware that I am in the minority of Juke owners when it comes to the attitude in which I approach vehicular modification. There is no 'right' way, despite all the smack I talk. It's all just about balance and trade-off.even though 13 disagrees, it is definitely an upgrade from stock headlights with halogens.
Very long overdue product just released to address this exact situation:One of my clients wanted them on his 54 f truk. Thinks they are great. Spent 6 yrs worth of weekend building it from bare metal up to put those on it. Comments?🤯 View attachment 191198

Very sick retrofit, I love it.do you have any pics of the actual bracket you used or how to fab one up heres what mine looks like rn
got ya man I’m actually working on making them part of the bumper. Hoping by end of next year to have my air ride setup and custom sub box done but one step at a time for nowVery sick retrofit, I love it.
Yeah I kinda hacked mine together because like I said, the lens on my head light was cracked, so I basically gutted the factory headlights and used those buckets as the main bracket to attach to the car, and then I heat formed a flat sheet of 1/8" plastic to make a flat surface for yet another bracket, the one that actually holds the 7" headlight and has screw posts to adjust the beam. It's basically just brackets on brackets on brackets lol.
