Yeah Joe tunes how Joe tunes. I dont like it. Others do. This car is just way to hard to Daily drive and that shows up in these 1/4 mile runs. Too Much torque Too Early. Dyno graphs' are not the only reason to get your car tuned. The ability to have several Maps is huge for Uprev. Not having a proper power map that is easier to do a DIG / 1/4 mile om is such a shame. If I remember right. This car lost 100+ wtq from this rpm range. 3000 rpms to 6000 rpms. Thats so bad.

Another good video. MrSubaru1387 hit's the nail on the head regarding CVT. Probably the most informed/knowledgable video from an experienced Subaru technician regarding the specific CVT failure modes at least on the Subaru. Of all the OEM it's Subaru that are making a nearly bulletproof CVT by a wide margin. Nissan/Jatco are slowly getting there but understand that the FWD/transverse transmission design has always been a compromise in terms of strength over a longitudinal transmission regardless of manual/automatic/CVT. This is why FWD based vehicles tend to break transmissions (i.e. manual, etc.) more than RWD due to the packaging constraints.
