I saw an ad for a 2014 Nismo RS and noticed this image - every other RS ad I looked at did not have this rocker switch. Anyone know why a switch for a cooling fan would need to be installed? Isn't this controlled by the thermostat?

The switch is obviously not flush with the bezel, so this definitely seems aftermarket. Any ideas?

Thx.

Yeah if you're looking to buy that I would stay away. Who knows why that was installed and for what. Since it is a CVT maybe it has a CVT cooler and that's a cooling fan switch for a fan on the CVT cooler?

I dunno but yeah if it's for the radiator stay the F away from that

That would be my guess. OP - ask and find out, now that you got us curious!

Possible that it's for CVT cooler fan. I know several guys on the forum have installed them. I've installed mine couple years back too. The fan relay will automatically kick in at preset temperature, or I can manually override it, hence the installed switch.

I too, will be interested to know if it's for something else...
