when installing a new stage 1 clutch kit in a 2011 juke, does the flat side of the clutch go to the flywheel or the pressure plate ? The kit came with no direction

Unless you got an extremely cheap clutch kit, there is always a sticker or stamp on the disc that says flywheel side on it. Always.

But to answer your question, usually the flat part faces the flywheel.

I don't have a shop within a 100 miles that will work on a juke ....that's why I'm trying with yalls help, at least get it back together .

Jukes are no special. They have the same construction as a nissan sentra or versa. Anyone who comes online and says no one will work on the car didn't call the right places. Firestone, pep boys, nissan, or any other established location will gladly work on them.
