So I did my Power Stop (Akebono remans) today.

NissanEgg thanks for the help!

I spent a total of $700
($670 actual cost but factor in brake cleaner, rubber gloves, brake fluid)

If you have questions ask away!

Calipers from Rock auto! $218 shipped per set of calipers
Front part# S6232
https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/power+stop,S6232,caliper,1704
Rear part # S6182
https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/power+stop,S6182,caliper,1704

Rotors pads $200 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/291515337634

Z1 for the banjo bolts! Ordered all 4 w/washers
https://www.z1motorsports.com/brakes/z1-motorsports/brake-line-banjo-bolt-p-8488.html

5mm spacers for front rotor position from eBay. 78mm center bore. (For dodge neon I believe)

FRONT:
Step1:
Take off front brake rotors and calipers

Step2:
Trim the Dust shield to fit the new caliper

Step3:
Place 5mm spacer on hub then place the new BBK rotor on

Step4:
Install the BBK Caliper and use the new Z1 Banjo bolt for the brake line

Step5:
Install the BBK pads and bleed the brake

Repeat for other side.

REAR:
Step1: remove rotor and caliper
Step2: Trim dust shield to fit new caliper and cut the lip around the edge so the rotor can fit with out rubbing
Step3: Test fit rotor and adjust ebrake using the small star wheel inside the side whole of the rotor (youtube how to adjust)
Step4: Install rear caliper and rotor, use the new Z1 banjo bolt for the caliper
Step5: install pads bleed the brake

Repeat for other side

Tip: bleed inner screw then outer screw.

Not only is that beautiful but I am blown away by the price point you managed to keep it. That's amazing. Seems like a comparable set like this all in one box would've cost you 3 times that much.

Red calipers wouldn't look good on my car. Wonder if I can buy something similar in blue.

so is this my new go-to route in lieu of the Murano setup?

We're still talking months and months away but... ya know... just sayin.

For real? Okay then, I might table the lighting project for now then, and move brakes up the list. Wanna put together a quote for something similar with blue calipers? You can put your logo on them. End of the fiscal year is there weeks away. Hoping for a bonus!

You had mentioned on the MJF FB group that there was the same kit of calipers without the powdercoating... I don't even know where/how to begin looking for that. Hold my hand please?

as for searching for the parts its as simple as clicking, nissan --> 370z --> Brakes --> Calipers --> then it shows you the part options with pictures.

Are those remaned?
When I bought my calipers new from Nissan I paid $220/each front and $218/each rear. That is with my employee discount.

Awww maannnnn it's cheaper to get it in the wrong color, eh? Bah, sandblasting can fix that.
I know how to use RockAuto when I know what I'm looking for. I didn't know 370Z or what year or ... whatever, I wanted to be spoon fed. I help enough on the forum, I wanted to be lazy for once. :)

Egg, he had referred to them as 'Akebono Remans' previously.

I, too, would like to be spoonfed! 13 is gonna hook it up for me on some purple powder coated calipers. Mi_Avante has a 15 AWD RS and I have a 15 FWD SL with 17" factory wheels. Can anyone confirm for me that this setup will work fine for me, or what I might wanna do differently?
