When it comes time to replace your brakes, just know there are required SAE tests and standards all brakes and brake pad manufacturers must adhere to but doesn’t mean that makes them equal. The data collected in the tests also shows why it’s a good idea to do a proper “bedding in” procedure on new brakes. For me personally, I’ll stick with OEM. Sure it may not be the cheapest or greatest in some scenarios, but there’s a reason the manufacturer spec’d that brake pad for the car. Mid-tier also looks like a good option too.
