Boost Gauge Install On RHD Juke

Has anyone on this forum installed a boost gauge for a RHD juke?

Noticed most of the posts are for LHD jukes.

I have a RHD Nismo RS

  • Just wondering where the boost line would feed through for the rubber grommet, would it still be near the air intake like in LHD models?

Check on the firewall underneath the intake box, see if there is a rubber plug there.
You are prolly best to run a long vacuum line and run it like a LHD. If you cannot find an easy path on the Driver side. Take the battery out and run the line through the firewall there. Lots of grommets etc. The battery out makes it easier to work.

Evening. I'll put pics up in the morning. I ran it thru a grommet in firewall. Using turbosmart supplied line, covered in a 8mm convoluted cable cover. Mounted the gauge above air vent. Picked up power for illumination off wiring under dash. Nice n simple install. No major tools needed.

Ran thru tubing n wiring down side panel. TS tube inside convoluted cover. Runs down n under to firewall padding.

I used a screw driver to make a hole thru firewall padding. Theres a rubber grommet on other side that leads up to the engine bay.
Heres were it gets interesting. The weather has been cold n wet in my area last few weeks. Cars been off. Not bad but something small. Waiting till weekend to check it. So today i pop the bonnet n check the tubing install n take photos for forum. Found the issue, bloody mouse or rat had chewed thru the tubing were i had pushed it thru the firewall n routed up into engine bay

The cable comes thru the plastic trim on the side of top left corner. It was neatly thru plastic and sealed with black sealant

It then runs thru and around engine bay to BOV

Looks good. Why are all the pics upside down? Oh yeah. You are downunder.
For anyone interested. Finally got around to installing this. I went down the way usually installed in LHD models.

On the passenger side there is a grommet. If you remove the glovebox, you will have enough room to find/work on the grommet. From here you can use a screwdriver or similar tool to poke a hole through the grommet and feed the vac line through. You will have to remove the intake box to find the vac line inside the engine bay.
