Anyone running this set up? Was going to go for 245 as I know it fits but 255 is pretty much bang on the money for speedo calibration.

It's either that or 235 45

Let me know if any of you have tried 255 40 and any issues you may have run into. I'm currently stock height but would like some lows later.

255/40 is .3" smaller than stock height, so not quite bang on. 235/45 is bang on, exact.

You can start by comparing with any year juke to see oem fitment.

I have 235/50 and I wish I had gone wider/lower (ie: 255/40) but here in Edmonton the roads are really horrible so I would have destroyed wheels in a year.

And 225 45 18 to 245 40 18

It's all well and good seeing it written but I'd rather hear from people that have, actually done it to confirm before I purchase

With the different sizes you are considering, the only different is going to be speedometer related. Other than that, maybe the squaring of the tire shoulder, poke, stretch, etc. But all should be minimal. Just get what you want and see how it works, none of these are choices are going to end in catastrophic failure. Just remember, more sidewall = softer ride and more tire roll, less sidewall = stiffer, but less roll.

I've had 235/45/18x8 +35 on my SL for over 8 years. I've gone through a couple different brands, different tires, same size. Never a problem.

I've decided on 245 40 18 in either Michelin ps4 or uniroyal rainsport 3

235/45 is a solid very common tire size and you can get good prices on them but as stated. A little either way wont hurt anything.
