EBC are ok. I am running the blue pads on my Evo. Not a huge fan of how they perform. I can make it about 6 laps before they start to fade. Granted thats on a track where I get up to 135 on one stretch and 120 on the other stretch. But when they fade, its a slow fade, not instant no brakes.

No problem! Just remember, once you start to smell the brakes cooking, they are going to fade fast. You will smell them before anything bad happens. Just take it easy for the first session, get to know the car and you will be fine.

Might have to get the Z1 BBK kit before I go. Lol. I am still on my original rotors/pads at 32k miles on my 6mt juke. Good time and opportunity/excuse to upgrade.

The stopping power is absolutely stupid. Even from stupid speeds. Makes my wife very very nervous. Wish I'd sprung for drilled and slotted because the slots are not very pronounced, visually, but that's a first world problem if ever there was one. Felt cute, might stop fast later. idk.

I told on myself already- purely aesthetic. I saw Keoke's in person a while back and he has the same exact kit D&S. They looked very nice indeed.

I agree with Macgyver on this one. Slotted only. Drilled ones will crack if you get them too hot, like running on a road course. You can even run Centric premium (made by Stoptech) blank rotors and they will do just fine. But good pads will do more then good rotors.

Most people have no problems running drilled and slotted. NissanEgg uses them and will voice accordingly.

The only thing I will say is they dont use them on race cars....... They might come standard on High end cars but that is just for "Looks".

The SHO guys shy away from them because the 5000 pound beast has smallish Rotors for its size and people have reported back with warpage on drilled and slotted. The most recent recommendations are for just slotted AC Delcos and Raybestos with really good pads on OEM calipers. Its a better setup than the Interceptors use.

Me personally, have cracked drilled rotors. I will never run them again. And yes, they seem to warp quickly. Having said that, I have warped blank rotors on the track as well. Just cant let them over heat. I will be adding on some front brake ducts on the Evo pretty soon.

On another note, update for the Bug! You guys might not like it though. The blower is coming off. Going to run it NA for a bit. Then, if I end up keeping it, a turbo is going on. I will probably put it on E85 too and turn up the boost!
