I will check the Owners manual but when I did my exhaust. Both studs backed off. I put never-seize on them and they will prolly come off again when its time. Who needs nuts. LOL

I would say try an air or electric impact gun along with a blow torch. Heat beat repeat.

I cannot find the size. Just the replacement part.

Kinna hard to show off a white car's lux-as-f-finish via photograph but I followed the whole process through that I described on the Accord a couple days ago, finished up interior and glass this morning and DAMN I am pleased with the results. Excited to see how this holds up through the summer.

My headlamps/gators/tails all look good as new, after a good polishing. I don't even have the heart go drive it for at least a few hours.

Oh yes i know that I am very fortunate to have been able to walk away I know that. Yeah the replacment I found seemes to be very nice and well taken care of as mine was. I will be more careful as well.

Installed my 2JR exhaust yesterday. It went MOSTLY uneventful. Oh, except for the spring bold getting stuck and breaking the welds on the nut attached to the stock midpipe flange. Had to cut the bolt with a recip saw and pick up a new bolt at the dealership.

The issue is that the pipe is resting on the undercarriage support brace. Any thoughts on what I can wrap it with to pad it so that I don't have the direct metal to metal contact?

I thought about it, but seems like it would be a pain to keep wrapped. I saw a sleeve similar to what is used on motorcycle/atv exposed exhaust components, but can't find one local to try out

I had the same issue the rattling was annoying I used exhaust wrap and it lasted a few days and came undone I just ended up removing the brace itself

I talked to Joe about it and I guess that brace is just to keep the exhaust in place in case of a frontal impact accident.
