    Help OBD trouble code P2096

    i have juke nismo 2015 obd showed P2096 trouble code ''post catalyst fuel trim system too lean bank 1'' what should i do? i'm thinking to change 02 dowstream sensor.

    It is not an easy answer as it can be many things to cause it.

    DTC No.
    CONSULT screen terms
    (Trouble diagnosis content)
    DTC detecting condition Possible Cause
    P2096
    POST CAT FUEL TRIM SYS B1
    (Post catalyst fuel trim system
    too lean bank 1)
    The output voltage computed by ECM from the
    A/F sensor 1 signal is shifts to the lean side for a
    specified period.
    • A/F sensor 1
    • A/F sensor 1 heater
    • Heated oxygen sensor 2
    • Fuel pressure
    • Fuel injector
    • Intake air leaks
    • Exhaust gas leaks

    i changes A/f sensor but the light came on . i chackec intake leaks and everything is ok.

    The last time I threw this code it was a bad O2 sensor, but I think I had to clear it a couple times, or disconnect the battery, to cycle the ECU. Worth a shot maybe?

    the code might require a drive cycle for it to clear.

    i cleared the code with OBD bust check engine still came. my car has poor acceleration between 1 rpm to 2 rpm . In hight rpm goes very well .

    Its hard to diagnose online. As stated. Prolly your secondary O2 sensor.
