    AWD Lowering Springs and Coilovers

Here is an update for those wishing to lower their AWD.

I will be dropping my car off next week at Eibach to test fit a set of springs for our car. Hopefully I can convince them to develop a set of sway bars and possibly coilovers for our car.

For those interested in coilovers, I was at SEMA a couple weeks back and it seems I found a company that might be interested in making a set of affordable quality coilovers for the AWD platform. The problem for me is that the company is located near the Orlando area and they will need a car for a couple weeks.

If you are located in the Orlando, FL area and can be without your car for 2 weeks, please let me know and I'll try to get the ball rolling. If you can not be without a car for 2 weeks but can take a day off, let me know as well. I'll figure a way to get them the parts necessary for development.

Hey Gunmetal...glad to hear the guys at Eibach are "finally" getting around to running some spring fitment tests on your AWD Juke... I've had my Prokits installed on my FWD for about 5 months now and really do enjoy the significant improvement in ride, cornering, and handling they provided...Look forward to finally seeing these on your Juke and good luck!

Eibach Springs : NEWS : NISSAN JUKE 2011

I too spoke with them about a month ago with respect to developing a Pro-Plus kit (Springs + Sways) for the Juke but still they have no intentions of doing so...good luck with the "convincing"!

I think a 2 inch lowering springs will give the juke a nice street look.
Hopefully they will be affortable enough.

I'm really pleased with the Eibach's I have installed which ended up dropping ~1.25" ...I wouldn't want to drop it any lower myself as I'm more concerned with improving the ride and handling anyways...You'll find that Eibach's springs are always "modestly" dropped as their primary focus has always been on ride performance and not slamming their vehicles just for looks

And I seriously doubt anyone will ever offer 2" lowering springs for the Juke...best drop you can reasonably expect from a lowering spring without having other suspension problems is ~ 1.5"...If your looking for a greater drop than that your going to have to spend some $$$ and purchase coilovers which best pricing I've seen so far for entry levels are ~ $800 from Tein and they are not available for sale yet in the US

This would be nice, although I don't see myself getting springs. I would love coilovers so hope someone in Orlando will step up. I don't see myself swapping springs for a third time.

Sounds like you finally removed those old was it versa? or was it sentra? springs you had installed on your Juke? Glad to hear you took those off and I can see why your now tired of swapping springs...LOL

hey what ever happened with those megan coilovers you were chatting up a while back you were thinking about installing instead?

They were Versa, got it down to 4 hours to swap by myself, but still a headache.

That was the plan, however the Sentra build has taken up all my money. Just got this in yesterday.....

I hardly drive the Juke now that I can carpool with my wife. Maybe in a year when the Sentra is done I will return to playing with the Juke.
