    Painted hatch and gas door

I like the look, a few of my friends have convinced me to do the spoiler as well as the wheels again. Over the next week or two i'll be doing it all and posting new pics when everything is completed. But for now here's a few teasers of the work in progress.

Deep key gouge... I bought a resin clear coat kit to hopefully band-aid it a bit.

Let me know what you think... this is plasti-dip so it's all removable and does NO damage to the paint or clearcoat, just peels off in a few minutes.

Also in a few days i'll be peeling off the paint from the nissan logo so it'll still be chrome just letting everything settle before I start cutting at it.

Continuing the black paint up onto the the roof and spoiler will make it look more uniform and "less like" you had just replaced your hatch door...

Agreed, it does have a "primer" or "gel-coat" look to it... but in person it has a Matte finish and looks pretty slick.

Real carbon wrap to make a cap is quite spendy. Di-Noc or whatever other vinyl is not bad, but be forewarned that if you take it off, you might take a little clearcoat with it. I had a carbon vinyl roof on my STI and it tiny bits of the clear with it when I peeled it off.

Like it - has a C30 look from the rear (which i always liked). the painted roof might be too much. this looks good

Thanks for the compliments guys, yeah the roof may be to much but thats the best part of this stuff no clear-coat removal when you peel it off. My wheels look like they did when I got the Juke and coated them with plasti-dip now that I removed it, no clear-coat damage.

Anyone removed the spoiler? I'm assuming it's just 4 simple bolts under a plastic panel and pulling it off of the body carefully.
