    Replaced the Juke

After 1 year of owning the Juke i have decided to part ways. I traded her in for a 2010 FJ cruiser 6MT with 13k on the ODO
I drove a few automatics and was impressed. I finally tracked down a 6MT and went to drive... lets just say. Done deal. I spend a lot of weekends at my house in the woods, and was relying on a second vehicle for hauling Kayaks and a 4 wheeler. i figured i would keep it simple and get one guy for the job.
and i got a certified toyota which means 100k bumper to bumper parts and labor.

Im going to be completely honest and say that i really hated the Juke. (this is just my opinion) It was severely underpowered and just plain cheap. i could not justify anymore driving around in a brand new car that rattled and squeaked and pinged more than my 1986 toyota MR2.
I was not achieving more than 20 mpg on a good day.
and the CVT! I guess im just used to a propper manual gearbox. I missed it so much. I will never buy an auto or CVT ever again.
The juke is a fine vehicle for most.. just not for me

My neighbor has an FJ and is a nice vehicle but he complains he is only getting 14-16 mpg and has to use premium fuel so he can't drive it as much as he would like.

I don't know how you can call it severly underpowered.

Never even heard of this thing or wanted to for that matter and that's why I came here. Wouldn't trust Toyota back then or now with my nuts after their stupid gas pedal ordeal.

You can say "Good Bye" now.

Juke and FJ Cruiser both run 0-60 in 7.1 seconds.

I never understand these posts where people attempt to justify their change of vehicles by tearing down the previous and insulting current owners.

Plus, wow, I would sure not want an FJ with gas prices heading towards $5 per gallon!

I don't get the underpowered bit but I can see how if you like a manual and you need AWD the Juke is an unhappy compromise. And consolidating vehicles probably makes good sense.

I suspect Toyota has solved their accelerator issues. It's not like nobody has ever died in a Nissan .

Oh, It's very easy to understand. It's because what they have now is worse than what they had before.

Deep Down they know it, but online they refuse to show it.

This explains why they're still here and won't disappear.

It's like Poison to our Atmosphere.

I think he meant underpowered as in towing capacity.
