New prices in April for the Juke

I just found out the prices have gone up on the jukes including some accessories. My SV had a MSRP of 23,960 now its 24,320. I for it for 21,500 plus the $400 check back plus free floor all weather mats. I feel I got a steal.

I was wondering how long it would take this (price hike) to take place. Due to the demand and disruption of supply because of the earthquake / tsunami in Japan. Now would you call this demand side or supply side economics?

I saw that the prices went up on Nissan's web site last week I wonder if it's due to all the stuff happening in Japan or if Nissan just wants to make more off of the Juke...

Sounds like you got a real good deal did you get the NAV system with it for that price?

I would call it Supply Side economics.... they need to slightly raise prices to be able to recover from any losses..... remember, just a few extra dollars may not mean much.... but a few extra dollars coming from tens of thousands of people at once means alot.

My friend ordered a set of 18x8.5 +40 Volk CE28N for his RSX-S back in December..... estimated arrival date was March..... the earthquake quickly changed that and his new date is the 27th of this month.

They also have to make up the losses for the $400 checks they're sending to everyone with the AWD fuel capacity SNAFU. You don't think Nissan is going to lose money on that deal, do you?

I bought mine just after the earthquake because I knew this would happen if I waited any longer. I got mine well under MSRP and just a bit above inventory.

I am surprised anyone is still manufacturing wheels out of Japan..too expensive.. most companies moved manufacturing to China to reduce cost!

I was actually told by my dealer before I bought my Juke that Nissan would be raising prices by $400 or more. I thought it was a gimmick to get me to buy that day, but I did some research when I came home and I did see hints of this coming. Of course the biggest hint was just the simple Supply available to the people's Demand.

Glad I pulled the trigger when I did. Now IF you can find a Juke, it will be more expensive than it was this Spring.
