Not at all! Just make sure you buy the one you want! It's still a pretty big purchase and their are no next day returns...lol.

Did it have any options? I swung and got a really sweet deal and I'm not even a good barganer. All I did was stick to what I could afford per month and the dealer worked with me. The sales guy said that sales are low at this time of year and are more willing to work on deals.

None at all! Love the Juke!

Dude might want to weigh in on this one. If he says go for it, then I don't think anyone is going to tell you not to.

I absolutely love mine. I hunted for a week to find the one I wanted. Ended up getting the Cayenne Red SL w/ awd. It was in the showroom. Has nearly every option on it. Sport package, chrome package, interior illumination package and the front underbody protector. I used to roadrace motorcycles and this thing is almost as fun to drive as racing around a track.

My biggest pre-purchase concern is the poor reported mileage as the epa figures were a big part of the draw to the Juke in the first place.

Have a 55mile one way highway commute. My Celica regularly flirts with 40mpg on that drive and has a bigger tank which enables me to get away with just filling up once a week. Seems the Juke would require multiple stops. Worried that could convert into remorse if mine got poor mileage as well. Would like to have a 1 day test drive and calculate the mileage on my commute...but only desperate companies like GM are doing that

As long as you research your vehicle, watch/read the endless amount owner and professional reviews, read forums with a grain of salt and test drive one, than you shouldn't have buyers remorse.
It's a pretty big investment not to do the above.
No regrets for me....It's a new vehicle and it will have it's share of issues. As long as Nissan stands by it's products and fixes the issues than there shouldn't be any remorse.

Also the EPA mileage rating are estimates. There is a huge range of 20-36 mpg (City and Highway) with combined estimated fuel economy of 27.
Of course light foots will see the higher end of the estimated spectrum where lead foots will see the lower end of the estimated spectrum. I'm a medium lead foot and expect to see the mid-lower end. I'm curious how they came up with those numbers. On a dyno or real world driving conditions?

EPA calculates on a dyno by measuring the carbon in the exhaust rather than a direct measure of the fuel itself. They change the rolling resistance to account for aerodynamics and such.

Im one of the forum members that regets buying the Juke. We were looking to find something that got around its estimated 30mpg hiway to use as a commuter to our cabin which we go to every week. It was suppose to save us in gas over our big suv and pickup. It was one of the only factors of buying it, It fails miserably.

Add in the multiple problems we have had with ours, 10 days already in the shop, with more issues still needing service time, we wish we could just get rid of it without taking a loss, which will never happen.

We knew it was a comprimise on the rest of the stuff, smaller car, less features, etc, but the gas mileage broke the camels back now, making it a regretfull decision.
So far we have had these issues, and only the cel one has been fixed right:

10 days in shop for CEL problem
piss poor gas mileage 18city 21 hwy
    vibration at hiway speeds
    malfunctioning lcd in dash cluster
    squeaky dash in various locations
seat fabric crinkling/pleating on sides of seat

add in the multiple rock chips now in the paint on the hood, and cracked windshield,of course those arent Nissans fault, but we never have seen that much damage on our other vehicles under normal hiway driving, you can maybe understand our frustration.

I can recall only a few Juke owners with worse luck than Dude in both this and the UK forum.

Remember, Dude's results are not typical. I think all any of us can say for sure is most people will be having a squeaky dash when it's cold with various points of emanation and volume. Of all the problems that have surfaced, that one, I believe, has been reported most often and is statistically the only one to worry about. Even at 0 Fahrenheit or below, my dash squeak struggles to be heard over the heater and is soon silenced once the cabin is warm. Then there are cases like Dude's, where the dash is squeaking everywhere and he has trouble drowning it out with the stereo. Yes, Nissan should have put in a better dash , or at least better seals/cushions, to head off the noises.

The real world MPGs have been lower than expected to be sure, but with break-in and most everyone buying theirs in the winter I'm still holding off on judgment. Right now I'm only off about 5MPG from EPA ratings and if it never gets any better I'm actually alright with it (although I have noticed a slow increase over time). Dude probably would not have gotten a Juke if the sticker said 22/27 but I probably would have.

Once again, sorry bout the frustrations, Dude. Not trying to diminish your misery. Just trying to keep things a bit big picture for potential Jukers who might be lurking around. I can't call myself JukieMcJukerson and let yours be the last post in this thread!
