I have a CVT that I am modifying, It runs pretty strong, the RPMs stay pinned when you open the throttle up and its all boost from there. I like it, I have my Turbocharged Miata that is a 5 speed so a CVT was ok with me.

You do know to achieve 300"w"hp (at the wheels) for a CVT AWD you'd need to be pulling roughly 390hp from the engine....And I think 300hp (at the engine) is pushing the max limits that Nissan's CVT is rated to handle....which still is pretty damn nice!

Curious is right, I guess I kind of never answered your question, 300 whp is unrealistic with the CVT. In your typical manual gear box that calls for upgraded clutch and flywheel. You would need a different type of transmission since the CVT is not upgradable...

you'll never hit 300awhp, and you'll never find a way to modify a CVT.

    sorry, but thats the reality

Our CVT are electronic controlled so is not working at it full stress potential, and have good mechanical components on it.At 300 whp its not programed to handle power but other drivetrain component will fail first like the axles, tranfercase, driveshafts(awd). My honest opinion is that the juke with all the mod available today you dont see the 300whp mark.there are pro tunners like foxmarketing claiming 400hp.
