Looking at Turbosmart Dual Port BOV

So... I've been looking at cheaper routes for BOV/DV. Turbosmart makes a dual port BOV that can be done in full release to atmosphere, full recirculate, or 50/50. The also have a Kompact series which is cheaper and mostly the same valve but smaller. I believe our cars use the same flange as the newer Subarus and the Mazdaspeeds. I couldn't really get my calipers in there to measure bolt spacing without removing the stock valve, but I think it's roughly 92mm... Subaru and Mazdaspeed are 91.8mm. If it does work then we'll have a cheaper alternative to the Synapse DV and have the ability to run it 50/50 for that awesome BOV sound. If anybody has their stock bypass valve laying around can you measure the bolt spacing center to center and report back please? Thanks

I believe the Nissan flange they offer is too small... it's 84mm I think, ours is definitely bigger than that

Sorry for the delay. Center to center, its ~92 mm. Give or take about half a mm.

    Hey Guys...

I'm going to be heading over to Turbosmart HQ tomorrow to meet with the guys there on Friday...They are intrigued with the new Juke and would like to take a look at mine...They also will be installing an E-Boost Street Controller and perhaps having their new wastegate and /or having a BOV installed...

If there is anything you'd like for me to ask them let me know....I will be bringing my camera and taking lots of pics and gathering info on all the other projects they are currently doing...

P.S. May drop in on GTM if I have the time..they are located right next door to Turbosmart.

Nice! So that means the BOVs for the newer Subies and the Mazdaspeeds should indeed fit.

Curious... Ask them to test fit a Dual Port BOV or a Kompact Dual Port BOV!

I'm really interested in the Kompact series because they are under $200 and give options as to whether you want atmospheric, recirculating, or 50/50. They are also setup to open the recirculating port first, so under low boost you won't really hear the BOV. So it should be fairly quiet until you need it. Pretty nice setup I think. I don't think there's any real advantage to having a Synapse valve vs the Turbosmart. IMO the Turbosmart just looks better too.

Get an upgraded BOV if you plan on upping boost significantly. I'm assuming the stock one will breakdown and leak by under higher than normal pressure conditions.

Or if you like the sound
