Headlight Bulb Replacemnt

So, Page 8-25 of the manual is worthless. I cant seem to get the connectors out OR to twist the base out. Anyone replace the bulbs yet want to clue me in on how to do this and how they found someone with a tiny enough arm to get to the passenger side bulb?!

*Replacement, cant change titles. Oops.

I replaced mine, it was a pain. Lost a bit of blood but i managed to get them off. Rotate the plastic sleeve and then the bulb/socket its connect to the lens housing so twist that off too, slide the sleeve away from the socket/housing and pull bulb out slowly and replace. Its very akward, I found it harder to replace the one on the right. Be patient. enjoy the brighter lights!
Wait till you have to put them back in.

Now to change the Fog lights...

what bulbs are you replacing the factory with?

in regards to the passenger side bulb - can you access it through the fender well? i know on my Murano i peel the plastic fender well back and the bulbs are right there.

I replaced them with Silverstars HB5 (Canadian Tire), much brighter.

there is a clip or bolt holding the washer fluid to a bracket. remove that bolt and push the spout aside...you'll have just enough room! haha

Is it so hard to make something that screws on, I found it more difficult to re-install, the bulb is tricky. It must be twisted in some weird fashion, i just looked at the headlight from the outside to see if it was lining up straight in the housing.

There is a single black round thing holding it in place, but I dont seem to be able to find out how to remove it. Did you do this? If so, how did you remove it safely?
