I thought a rear strut tower bar for the FWD and AWD would be the same (I think the shock mounts are in the same location). Are there geometry differences between the two?
You need a minimal of 4 points of contact to have a proper rear strut tower brace. The rear strut bar is just a fancy bar and will do minimal increases at best. Will remove the small amount of storage space will already have lol
So far I'm happy with the factory braces on my RS. If I really need to stiffen things up I'll fab supports to my factory stuff. Those bars would be way better if they'd triangulate the angle they're using for mounting points with the square stock.
