    Hi from Right Down Under

Hello everyone and greetings from Tasmania (that little heart shaped island under Australia)
I'm taking possession of a 2014 AWD in A couple of days. Have had a few test drives and Very impressed so far with the specs and goodies.
A point of contention here in OZ seems to be Nissan's blase attitude to GPS map updates with quotes exceeding A$800.00 to upgrade. This should surely be addressed as most sub $200.00 GPS units are now supplied with free lifetime map updates. Now retired and downsizing from A Toyota Prado V6 3.4 litre. Finding it hard to keep both tanks of petrol full at around AU$200.00 for a complete top-up.
    Cheers, Terry

Welcome to the forum. You are right, the cost to update the Nissan Nav maps is ridiculous and I can't imagine why it is so expensive especially when my Garmin has lifetime updates and seems to be better at directions anyway
