Hope the joke you drove was at least a little funny.

Kidding aside, I also owned a 300zx. I sold it to get the Juke if that makes you feel any better.

The market is fairly new to the juke at the moment, but I see a LOT of potential.

ECU tunes are just coming out, exhaust options are there, injen has a nice CAI, and the list goes on. I personally love my juke, and after being a dedicated and hardcore 300zx fan, I would sell my 300zx for the Juke again if I had the choice.

Aside from that, were you ever on zcar.com or tt.net?

Lol Juke was fun. Im researching about towing capacity right now. I have a snowmobile and a light trailer and was hoping the Juke could tow it.

Ive been on tt.net probably 7 or 8 years now. I don't post much but read a fair bit. I have too much into it to ever sell.

Yeah i lost a few grand when I sold mine =(. But I still think its worth it. I had the 1990, so going from a 21 year old car to a brand new car makes a huge difference.

Just FYI, in the US manual, it says:

    Towing a Trailer

Do not tow a trailer with your vehicle.

However, being slightly less lawyer-happy in the UK, they do list some tow capacities.

    Borrowing from this thread:
    Tow Capacity? - page 7

You'll note there are slightly different ratings for the diesel and non-turbo Jukes, but for the 1.6L Turbo, AWD, CVT the ratings are:

Max trailer weight unbraked - 1604 lbs. (728 kg)
Max trailer weight w/ trailer brakes - 2535 lbs. (1150 kg).

    1.6L Turbo, 2WD, Manual is:

Max trailer weight unbraked - 1462 lbs. (663 kg)
Max trailer weight w/ trailer brakes - 2645 lbs. (1200 kg)

I traded in 2 350Z's for my Juke - we were a 2 Z household and with gas continuing to rise & my commute @ 60+ miles/day, I needed something with better than 23 mpg that requires 93 octane fuel.
I was considering a Rogue but with only 170hp under the hood, I figured out quick that the difference between that and the 300hp I was used to would be too great. The Juke has 188hp, a sporty feel and the handling is somewhat close to the Z. Keep in mind that you can't really compare the two on an even plane & when people ask me why I sold the Z's, or if I like the Juke better than the Z's - my answer is always the same. I love the Juke, differently than the Z of course, but I don't have any buyers remorse at all.

Thank you very much for all information. That's exactly what I read in my research. I am just a little too concerned about voiding of my warranty because I would add lights to the trailer. It really sucks because in the uk it has more then enough capacity for what I would use it 4. I think I will have to talk to the service manager and see what he says. It would be nice if he turns out blind eye to that trailer wiring.

The 300 will always be a second car. My current daily is an 06 acura csx. Also have a 1968 triumph tr250. A little british convertible sports car.

Well I traded in my 2010 Lancer GTS Sportback Limited Edition for a 2012 Juke SV, very pleased with the trade (not really) but the wife likes the Juke way better. I have a 1993 Stealth which still turns heads so with that being said, Do Not - I say Again Do Not trade in the 300ZX....
